Paige Paxton is a student at Western Kentucky University studying for a  Bachelor of Fine Arts. Her main path in the Fine Arts program is Graphic Design, and she'll be in her Sophomore year of University this fall. Paige is from Louisville, Kentucky, and when to Eastern High School. During high school, she discovered her interest in design. Ever since then, she had worked to learn all about graphic design and how to group as an artist and designer.

Shelby Hahn is an upcoming senior at Western Kentucky University pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She works as a waitress at a sports bar on the weekends, but during the semester she’s in the design or ceramics studio. Growing up in Hendersonville, TN, she was often around the live music scene in Nashville, so she has an interest in creating designs for the music industry, but most importantly that reflect the way music sounds to her. She hopes to find an internship her senior year at a music venue in Nashville, but wants to explore another music scene elsewhere after graduation. She’s not afraid of experimentation and pushing boundaries, and strives for designs that give the same feeling as listening to your favorite song.

Shelby is a graduate student at IUPUI studying Museum Studies. She graduated from WKU in the Spring of 2021 with her undergraduate degrees in Studio Arts and Art History. She is from Southern Indiana and will be graduating with her Master’s Degree next year. Shelby is interested in collection care and curation within a museum, and family keepsakes and photo albums within her artwork. She took the multimedia course in London to gain more knowledge on graphic design and museum practices.

Sol Garced-Ortiz is a student at Western Kentucky University. She is finishing her Bachlor in Fine Arts. Majoring in Graphic Design, she is taking her final classes in England. Sol is from Hopkinsville, Kentucky and was involved in many art clubs and competitions in highschool. Her love for art grew as soon as she could a pencil. She began being serious with art in middle school and kicked into high gear in highschool. Her life goal is always to learn something new and be better than before.

Sydney is from Frankfort, Ky, the youngest of 4 and is a candidate for a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Western Kentucky University. She’s been continuously on the presidents and deans list, earned the Jerry Baker scholarship 2 years in a row and maintains a part time job outside her school jobs and internships. While at WKU she interns for Imagewest, CCSA and works in the Art and Design Office. She is also heavily involved on campus, Being Vice President of Sigma Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa. She’s also a member of Clay Club, NSLS, NSCS and the WKU’s honors society.

Haley Kelly is a student at Western Kentucky University with a major in Psychological Sciences and a minor in Art. Haley has always had a special interest in art. During her time in college, she has taken a wide variety of art classes but has recently taken up graphic design as her new challenge. She may not be an expert in design but that does not stop her from creating exactly what she wants. During her time in London, she became especially interested in the way London treats its environment. She took special note of all the ways they try to be eco-friendly and thought that it was a really important topic to highlight about the city. This is a city who cares about what happens to it, and that is something to make a piece about.
