Hi friends! My name is Shelby Hahn, but I tend to go by Shel. I am an artist preparing to graduate from Western Kentucky University with a BFA in graphic design and a secondary focus in ceramics. I graduate in spring 2023, so studying abroad was a top priority on my to-do list before graduating. I will be taking Typography & Poster Design and Multimedia Design & Campaigns on this three-week summer program here in London.
I am incredibly excited to see and experience a culture so different from my own, but so similar at the same time. The architecture, transportation, people and art of London seem familiar, but I have never seen anything like it. Above all, I am most excited to see art that I learned about in art history classes and design my own posters based on inspiration I gathered throughout my journey.
I enjoy creating abstract and psychedelic art through a variety of media, making pottery, taking care of my plants, traveling, hiking, music, and yoga. I am excited to grow and experience something new in London!
