Day: One

On Monday the 18th we arrived, the plane ride was 8 hours long and not too bad. I didn’t get much sleep so I was exhausted. But immediately once we got there we had to take our stuff upstairs then come back down for a meeting. After the meeting we ate for free at the hotel. I got eggplant parmesan and then afterwards we all headed to a pub, and I got a drink. It was really good but I was exhausted so we then headed back to the room after a long day. I was so glad to finally be in bed and fell asleep immediately.

Day: Two

On Tuesday the 19th me and my roommate Shelby got breakfast at the hotel. It was complimentary and had many options but it was way too early for me so I wasn’t that hungry. Afterwards we met with the group and headed to Buckingham palace. It was the hottest day in London and we were all very overheated and exhausted from the sun. Constantly refilling water and then walking through St. James Park to see the changing of the guards. We ended up having to wait for a long time but once it happened. We headed out and went to West Mister street Abbey and walked around for a little. After that we went for lunch and went for fish and chips at Munchkins, but I ended up getting a veggie dish. After that we got our assignments and then got dinner at Wasabi, I got veggie sushi. That night we went to a ball pit bar called Ballie Ballerson, it was really cool and fun. Then afterwards got McDonalds!

Day: Three

On Wednesday the 20th, we went to the British Museum in the morning. It was huge and had a few hours to walk on our own and explore the museum. They had tons of artwork, and my theme for class is fashion so I was looking at all the clothing and jewelry. It was very interesting and intriguing on all the hardworking and detail that went into making it. Afterwards we met up and went to Franco Manca for pizza. Then we headed to the Museum of London, it was more interactive. I found a lot more fashion at this museum. It didn’t take as long, and once we finished we all met up outside. From there some of us headed to Starbucks and I got a dragonfruit Frappuccino which wasn’t that good, but it was okay. We then wanted to go see the walking bridge from the Harry Potter movie and took some photos walking across. After we finished we headed home and got dinner.

Day: Four

On Thursday the 21st, it was a work and class day. Me and my Shelby went to get breakfast at the cafe next store and I got a croissant and smoothie and Shelby got a crepe. It was all really good then we met and headed to do work at Starbucks because the hotel wouldn’t allow us to. We had a quick lunch break, then headed back to Starbucks for Kara’s class. Once we finished everything we headed to the London Eye. It was sold out sadly so instead we got on a boat tour and got to see Tower Bridge, it was really pretty. After the boat tour we got dinner at five guys, it was really good and the portions were huge. We sat by the amphitheater to listen to live music and sit outside by the bar. We waited a while and then after two songs headed home to do homework because we all were stressed of how much we had to get done. Me and Shelby stayed up till 3 am and then finally went to sleep exhausted!

Day: Five

On Friday the 22nd, we went to the national gallery. It was full of paintings and even had Vincent Van Gough. It was so cool to see all the work and detail these artists put in their paintings. Afterwards we went to Prep for lunch and I got a hummus wrap and watermelon. I was so glad to get some fruit because I had been craving some this whole week. We then had to meet up for class and choose Starbucks because it was full of room last time. After homework me and Shelby went back to the room to finish up our homework. That night it was a surprise for Kendall’s birthday and we ended up meeting at a bar to have some drinks. Then headed to this really cool arcade bar that was full of neon signs and lots of graphite and colors. It was a long but eventful day!

Day: Six

On Saturday the 23rd, some people went to Stonehenge but me and a group of people went to Canterbury. It was beautiful and full of colorful and pretty houses, like a place that I’ve always wanted to live in. Tons of scenery and walking and everyone was so nice and friendly. The bus ride was only an hour long and we got breakfast that was delicious. I got a Belgium waffle with lemon spread and mimosas. We then walked around and got on a gondola, there were tons of cute baby ducks. Lastly we saw the cathedral and it was huge and beautiful. Then to end our night we headed to a couple bars to celebrate Kendal’s birthday.
